Sacrilegious cause but it seems that is going to define our course Can't be bothered to dream, everyday stuck in the same routine Thought I was part of a new generation that was supposed to bring peace to deliver salvation kid's belief but such a beautiful gesture... --Stand up, stand for yourself, stand for us all, and stop obeying them all-- What a fucking feeling how can we keep making the same mistakes, centuries of pain just appear to repeat like the circle of fifths... Thought I was part of a new generation that was supposed to bring peace to deliver salvation, kid's belief but such a beautiful gesture... --Stand up, stand for yourself, stand for us all and stop obeying them all--

Cross the border make your way Say boy you've lost your mind? Last patrol today, same old fight for your right... They say... not believing no more meaning Don't turn your back and they'll praise Honour, no fear, hard believe.. Say what you want to say, give in, portray the way you want to be seen Falling in triumph everyday Another price for you to pay... Fighting for no cause, for your right for your pride, they say... Not believing no more meaning Don't turn your back, don't turn your back and they'll praise Honour, no fear, faith, hard believe... Say what you want to say, give in, portray the way you want to be seen

Life is just a miracle No matter what we're thinking, so? Oh no What are we living no Unfortunate circumstance Its driving us to nowhere land Open your eyes to see again What you've become, my God In what a state you are Living in times of violence Of fear and absolution Its time to stand up for yourself Its time to face your lonely self And I, looking straight up to the sky Facing fears I can't deny; All I want to see is a clue cause I don't remember you Life is just a vehicle No matter what we're thinking so? Oh no What we were thinking no A common known avoidance Its turning Earth to wasteland Heaven and Hell is everywhere That makes life such an odd in what a state we are Sharing the same experience, While looking for solution Its time to look deep in ourselves Its time to investigate ourselves And I, looking straight up to the sky, Facing fears I can't deny, All I want to see is a clue cause I don't remember I, looking straight up to the sky, facing fears I can't deny, All I want to see is a clue cause I don't remember you. And I, looking straight up to the sky, facing fears YOU can't deny, All I want to see is a clue cause I don't remember you.

Open your eyes It’s time for you To see yourself in another light again You feel abandoned Shadows ahead Can spoil your flight Will make you fall and burn Your wings while no one will know Praise your senses, and you will be assured Following crowds can do no good, It’s just not good to be so sure, For an unexamined life Look to the stars and hope will grow, Once again in you, my love It’s all related Praise your senses, and you will be assured live, live and feel whatever your soul craves

Oh who can see the colours At the end of this wrecked voyage Tomorrow might be late All lights might just fade away Nobody else can see the soul that lives in you Nobody else can see the time you spend with you All you do is selling time, but that feeds your sorrow With no remorse and no tomorrow The answers are all vague its a matter, A matter of a fallen ego Its night out, its day out Does it matter if you cant just live it? Nobody else can see the soul that lives in you Nobody else can see the time you spend with you All you do is selling time, but that feeds your sorrow With no remorse and no tomorrow Time just pass and you don't care But is it real or just a deal With no tomorrow

about

Primarily the work of multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter Theo Mak, ‘I Can Pay For It: A Collection of Songs for the Current Political & Socio-economic Crisis’ is the new EP from E-Mute.

Having evolved over the years as a fluid collective of creative and experienced musicians, Theo is the driving force behind E-Mute. For this release he has enlisted the help of three of those musicians to bring life to his politically minded brand of alternative rock.

The first E-Mute release to be fully recorded with live instruments, this EP has a real, live, gritty feel to its distortion laden guitars and thundering drums. This organic approach is very suitable for the subject matter, which takes a lyrical microscope to grimy current issues in the political and economic arenas.

Intense, ironic and by turns darkly funny or genuinely thought provoking, the EP was recorded over the course of one, very productive day in the studio.
